مشغل ملتميديا على درجة عالية قادر على قراءة معظم صيغ الصوت والفيديو مثل :
( MPEG-2 ، MPEG-4 ، H.264 ، DivX ، MPEG-1 ،MP3 ، Ogg ، Aac ، Rmvb ... )
وكذلك الفيديو من نوع ( DVD ) ، و أقراص الصوت (Audio CDs ، VCDs) ،
ومختلف بروتوكولات التدفق . كما يمكن استخدامه كمحول ملتميديا أو سرفر للارسال
في IPv4 أو IPv6 على الشبكات
